01. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to "remember you" between pages (language, logged-in session, items in the cart) and to measure how it is used.

There are first-party cookies (set by MyDominicanTrip) and third-party cookies (set by services such as Stripe or Plausible that we load on our pages).

You can also block all cookies from your browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & security
