What is included in the Catalina Island tour from Punta Cana?

Where does the boat leave from?
The boat to Catalina Island departs from La Romana. You do not need to get there on your own, because pickup at your Punta Cana hotel and the return trip in an air-conditioned bus are included. How long is the Catalina Island day and what is the schedule?
Plan for a full day of about 8 hours. The itinerary lists hotel lobby pickup around 06:30, arrival at the departure point around 08:00 to start the activities, lunch around 10:30, more activities from 12:30, and return to your hotel around 15:30. Pickup times change with your hotel location, so we confirm yours on WhatsApp.
Is this a snorkeling or a diving tour?
The package includes snorkeling in a natural pool, where you can see the colorful coral reefs and marine life around Catalina Island. Scuba diving is not part of the listed inclusions. If you are a diver or would like to try diving at Catalina, message our team on WhatsApp before booking and we will check the options available for your date.
Are food and drinks included on Catalina Island?
Yes. You get a Caribbean buffet lunch on the island and an open bar with national drinks during the tour. Premium and international drinks are not included and would be an extra cost if you want them. What should I bring to Catalina Island?
Since you will be on a boat and snorkeling, bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a change of clothes for the ride back. Tips for guides and crew, premium drinks, souvenirs, personal expenses and travel insurance are not included, so carry some cash for any extras. A waterproof bag for your phone is also handy on the boat.
Can children join, and how large are the groups?
Groups have a maximum of 30 participants, and the tour runs in English and Spanish. Children can book; the child rate applies where it is listed, and for this tour the child price is currently the same as the adult price.
